Anna is a dedicated registered nurse and midwife with a rich background in healthcare. She began her nursing journey in Sweden before relocating to Port Macquarie, on the beautiful Birpai land, in 2001. In 2004, Anna earned her Graduate Diploma in Midwifery and spent over 20 years serving the community at Port Macquarie Base Hospital as both a nurse and midwife. In 2022, she joined the welcoming team at Flynns Beach Medical Centre, where she continues to thrive.

Anna has completed additional training in reproductive and sexual health, furthering her commitment to women’s health. She is particularly passionate about antenatal and postnatal care, providing compassionate support and education to empower women in making informed health decisions. Anna believes in the importance of understanding how our bodies work and encourages women to feel confident in seeking help, especially on topics like continence, menstruation, sexual health, and vaginal health.

In her clinic, no question is ever too embarrassing. Outside of her professional life, Anna enjoys the outdoors with her family and friends, often spending time at the beach, running, swimming, and camping. She also expresses her creativity through floristry, music, playing the piano, singing in choirs, and attending live music performances.
